EmailSo on my way home from Las Vegas I get a text from a friend of mine telling me about this race forty minutes from my house in San Diego California. I was pretty tired from my trip to Las Vegas for Interbike and my detour to Santa Clarita at Marty Eichmann’s to get my new MWE Rack installed on my van. I figured with a good nights sleep I could make it out to the race. This was the 1st annual race for SDSU and it went pretty well. I did two practice runs and hung out tell it was time to race. I was out of the gate first. I had a pretty clean run. I dabbed my foot once on a off camber turn and was drifting the rest of the course. Surprising I was twenty seconds faster than I had guessed my time would be. I Ended up first with the fastest time of the day which was (2:51:47) I was pretty stoked to end my wknd with a win at a race that I decided to race at the last minute. Pretty stoked to end the year with a win considering the season was up and down for me. Glad Im on a Rotec to help me ride to my fullest capabilities.
